First of all I'd like to thank my adorable American Family to had among them during THANKSGIVING my dearst son Andre.
Mom Schuett asked me if we celebrate THANKSGIVING down here in Brazil.
Well...we do have the day at the same date as you but it's a regular day for us.
I was looking for informations about it and it seems that it is an American Holiday. It was introduced to us in 1909, by Joaquim Nabuco, an ambassador from Brazil , who had happened to be in the USA and had taken part to the celebration and this made him extremely impressed and when he came back he said: I wish that the whole humanity could at in a same day hold hands, get together, to give an UNIVERSAL thank to God for the beauty that surrounds us, the life, the family...friends, the way we were gifted by HIM... To Thank HIM for his love.
But it was president Castelo Branco, in 1965 that introduced this date in our calendar, which is "celebrated"at the same date at yours.
Love you always,
Cris

It was wonderful having Andre with us. I am thankful that I have him in my life and that without you, I would not have Julio, Andre, Felipe and Gui as my family!
We had a great time in Florida and as much as I love Andre, I will never go on Kumba at Busch Gardens again! Beijos
